Place Your Order is an ordering service operated by Elarion that lets you order and pay from your phone at participating food stands. Your purchase is from the stand you order from; Place Your Order provides the ordering, payment and notification service. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Orders and payment
- Prices are in Canadian dollars and include the taxes shown at checkout.
- Payment is taken by Square on its secure checkout. Your order is confirmed once payment goes through, and you get an order number.
- Items depend on availability. If the stand can't prepare something you paid for, it will offer a replacement or a refund for that item.
- For mixed platters, the stand may swap an item that runs out for another of similar value.
Pickup
Collect your order at the stand's counter with your order number when we tell you it's ready. Fresh and raw food is best enjoyed right away; please collect it promptly.
Refunds and problems
If something is wrong with your order, tell the stand's staff before you leave so they can fix it. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Square.
Allergies and raw food
Please tell the stand's staff about any allergies before you order. Food may contain allergens such as shellfish. Eating raw or undercooked shellfish may increase your risk of foodborne illness, especially if you are pregnant, elderly, or have certain medical conditions.
Order-ready text messages
- Program: Place Your Order order notifications. If you enter your mobile number, we text you about your order, usually once, when it's ready. Event news by text is sent only if you separately tick the promotions box.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
- Stopping texts: reply STOP at any time. You may get one message confirming you opted out.
- Help: reply HELP, or contact us: ask a member of staff at the stand where you ordered.
- Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Using this site
Please use this site only to order. We may cancel orders that appear fraudulent or abusive, with a refund. The site is provided as is; we aim to keep it available but can't guarantee it will always work.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law in British Columbia.
Contact and changes
Questions: ask a member of staff at the stand where you ordered. We may update these terms; the effective date at the top shows when they last changed. These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and Canada.
