Place Your Order · Effective October 16, 2026

Place Your Order is an ordering service operated by Elarion. It lets you order and pay from your phone at participating food stands (each a "stand") and tells you when your order is ready. This policy explains what personal information is collected, why, and your choices. "We" means Place Your Order and the stand you order from. We follow Canada's privacy laws (PIPEDA and British Columbia's PIPA).

What we collect

We don't ask for your name, and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

Text messages

If you enter your mobile number, Place Your Order sends you texts about your order (usually one, when it's ready). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. It is shared only with the service providers below, to deliver messages to you.

Who sees your information

These providers process information only to provide their service. Some store or process it outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.

How we protect it

Your phone number and email are stored encrypted, connections use HTTPS, and each stand's staff can see only that stand's orders, after signing in.

How long we keep it

We keep order records as long as needed for business and tax obligations. You can ask us at any time to delete your phone number or email; promotion consent records are kept until you unsubscribe, plus the time needed to show we had permission.

Your choices and rights

Contact us

For privacy questions or requests: ask a member of staff at the stand where you ordered. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
